Privacy Policy
Effective October 9, 2026
This policy explains what information friscoisdbondfacts.com collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what you choose to give us, we use it only to keep you informed about Frisco ISD's bond and budget, and we never sell it.
1. Who we are
friscoisdbondfacts.com (the "Site") is published by Stephen Jordan, a Frisco, Texas resident, as political advertising that he pays for personally. The Site is not affiliated with or endorsed by Frisco ISD. You can reach us at info@friscoisdbondfacts.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Site, including its documents and data downloads, and the email updates you can sign up for. It does not cover the websites we link to, including Frisco ISD, the MSRB's EMMA system, the Texas Education Agency, and the Texas Ethics Commission. Those sites have their own policies.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us. There are no accounts and no logins. If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your ZIP code. If you email us, we receive your message and your email address.
Information collected automatically. The Site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, in order to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
Visit statistics. Our host's built-in Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, referring sites, and load times. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not identify you.
What we do not collect. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or social media trackers, and the Site does not set cookies of its own.
"Email the Board." This button opens a message in your own email program. You decide whether to send it, and we never see it.
4. How we use information
- To send you updates about Frisco ISD's bonds, budget, and Board of Trustees.
- To answer your questions and corrections.
- To keep the Site secure and to stop spam sign-ups.
If Stephen Jordan becomes a candidate for public office, we may also send updates about that campaign to the same list. Every message will include a way to unsubscribe.
5. How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not give it to Frisco ISD, other campaigns, or political committees. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Site and send email, such as Cloudflare, under their own privacy and security commitments, or when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email address and ZIP code until you unsubscribe. After you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address and the fact that you unsubscribed, so we can honor your request. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to respond.
7. Your choices
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any update, or by emailing us. You can also ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email info@friscoisdbondfacts.com with the subject "Privacy request," and we will respond within 30 days.
8. Security
Sign-ups are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a private database that only the publisher can access. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to protect.
9. Children
The Site is written for adult voters and taxpayers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change affects how we use your email address, we will tell subscribers before it takes effect.
